“La Baraja del Mundial” is a satirical football deck, published by Fournier for ‘Interviú’ news magazine, commemorating the 2006 FIFA World Cup tournament. The artwork is by cartoonists José María Gallego & Julio Rey, (aka ‘Gallego & Rey’), featuring irreverent caricatures of Messi, Figo, Etto, Raú, Maradona, Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane, etc.
The non-standard suit signs are drums, trophy cups, footballs and football boots. The reverse has publicity for the 30th anniversary of Spanish media conglomerate Grupo Zeta. See the box
