Football playing cards

The title of this pack, “Football”, is rather misleading. In fact, all of the footballers depicted are from the UK. Each player is named – which is just as well as some of them are almost unrecognisable! No doubt in order to avoid having to pay reproduction rights or royalties, none of the images is an actual photograph: all have been redrawn, some rather better than others. The Jokers depict a hand holding a red card, a hand holding a yellow card (x2), and a football. The back design shows the layout of a football pitch in green and white. See the box►
