Baraja de Alava
55 different paintings by Emilio Lope depicting the history and culture of Vitoria and the province of Álava.
Each of the 55 Spanish-suited cards in this pack features a painting in vertical format by Emilio Lope, an artist from Vitoria. They depict the history and culture of the province of Álava: sights of Vitoria on the coins suit, scenes from the Rioja region on the cups suit, and mountains and villages of Álava on the suits of swords and batons. The indices are in English. On the reverse is the coat of arms of Álava in brown. The pack is dedicated to Felix Alfaro Fournier, the founder of the playing-card museum in Vitoria (6 of Coins) and of the Arms Museum (Queen of Coins).
