Attractive full-length courts in Portuguese regional costumes, showing local variations and socio-economic situations. The various regional traditions, materials and clothing designs - aprons, hats and shawls - were very much part of the distinctive identities throughout the peninsula, especially on festive occasions. All the regions are named and there are two figures on each of the Aces and Jokers. The numeral cards are plain. Indices: R, D, V, 1. Text in French and Portuguese on the extra card.
