Marie and Laurent’s Wedding
Wedding invitation and thank you card in the form of playing cards. France, 2019.
It’s not every day that one receives a wedding invitation in the style of a playing card. However, that’s exactly what happened in 2019 when two friends, Marie and Laurent, decided to get married. Their wedding invitation featured both of them, at either end of a “playing card”. Their “thank you” card after the ceremony took the form of an Ace of Hearts showing the happy couple. Both of the designs were created by the bride who kindly said that she got the idea after seeing packs in my collection.
Note: to preserve the anonymity of the wedding couple I am showing only one side of each card.
