Cape Wrath is one of the last untouched wilderness areas in Great Britain. Since the early years of the 20th century, much of the northern part of Cape Wrath has been used as a naval bombing and gunnery practice range. This pack highlights the area’s rich heritage, including sites of archaeological and architectural interest, dramatic seascapes, and important wildlife. The 55 different colour photos reach to the edge of each card. Most are in horizontal format, with a title bottom right. Four-way indices. Black suit-signs and indices printed in white. Backs: camouflage pattern. See the box

Roddy started collecting stamps on his 8th birthday. In 1977 he joined the newly formed playing-card department at Stanley Gibbons in London before setting up his own business in Edinburgh four years later. His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
