22 Pittori in 22 Arcani
Collaborative Tarot with contributions from 22 different Italian artists including Menegazzi and Tavaglione.
The 22 Italian artists who contributed to this collaborative effort were given a free hand to interpret the subject matter as they wished. They include Piero Alligo, Domenico Balbi, Giorgio Tavaglione and Osvaldo Menegazzi. The results are disparate though for the most part very colourful. Some of the interpretations are quite traditional, others much less so. Each artist’s name appears discreetly at the foot of each work. The oversized cards have bold titles in Italian, square corners and plain olive-green backs. The names of all the artists are listed on the cover . This was a numbered edition of 2,000 packs, of which 36 were signed by the 22 artists.
