The 12 illustrations of old German steam locomotives in this pack are all taken from a book, Dampflokomotiven. The locomotive type number and the production date are given beneath each image. A horizontal format has been used. The indices are in German. This was an edition of 5,000 packs.

He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
