MISSCŒUR

Published January 19, 2024 Updated January 19, 2024

Elongated cards from France with a fourth court card, a Miss.

1980 France Héron Courts

Alongside the three regular court cards, a ‘Miss’ has been added to each suit in this pack of elongated cards – a ‘first’ according to the publishers. The four court cards in each suit are all non-standard, fully filling the available space. They have something of a photofit feel to them, with different outfits and a slightly different set of colours for each suit. The Jacks are butlers or footmen. “MISSCŒUR / FRANCE” appears on each of the Kings. The pips on the Clubs suit have been given a new look. The rules for two special card games are presented (in French) on the three extra cards. See the box
