South Park first aired in 1997 and has since become one of the most critically acclaimed TV cartoons of all time. The animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and developed by Brian Graden for Comedy Central revolves around four boys – Cartman, Stan, Kenny, and Kyle – who here appear on all the court cards and Aces. Other characters appear on the remaining cards. Each is accompanied by one of his or her famous one-liners. The same designs are used in each suit but set against a different coloured background for each suit. Double-ended designs throughout. See the box

In 1977 he joined the newly formed playing-card department at Stanley Gibbons in London before setting up his own business in Edinburgh four years later. His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
