2015 Bulgaria Land of Roses Ltd Souvenir

Unlike most souvenir packs, this one features paintings of tourist sites rather than photographic views. Each painting is displayed within an elaborate frame (one style per suit) resembling a mirror. The black suits have grey backgrounds, while the red suits have flesh-coloured ones. A different painting on each card. English titles above and Bulgarian titles below each. The artist’s name is not known. Indices K, D, J, A. Backs: sunflowers and text. See the box

He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
