Neiman Marcus playing cards
Cowboys and American Indians on a pack for Neiman Marcus, the Dallas department store.
Comical cowboys, dance hall girls, American Indians and saloon types make up the single-ended court card designs in this pack. For the red-suit courts a red background has been used and for the black-suit courts a black one. The suit-signs are bold and irregular on the pip cards. A snake oil salesman appears on the Jokers. The cards have gilt corners. Originally, these cards were issued in a double pack, with the second pack having green and grey backs. There is no indication of the artist’s name.
